Marayoor jaggery represents a unique variety of jaggery (non-centrifugal cane sugar) derived from fresh sugarcane juice in the Indian state of Kerala.It is an agricultural product created from sugarcane, which is a common and widely grown crop in the Marayoor and Kanthalloor Grama panchayath of Devikulam taluk, Idukki district, especially cultivated by the Muthuva tribe farmers.

KACHARAM OR KANTHALOOR WATERFALL

Perched in the idyllic Kanthalloor village of Kerala’s Idukki district, Kacharam (Kanthalloor) Waterfalls offers a splendid retreat with its 20-meter drop. Visitors can relish a bath in the pool below, as long as they can endure the water’s brisk temperature. To access the falls, one must undertake a brief 500-meter descent on a narrow, rocky, and muddy trail.
